Vaccinations

Are You Using the Terms "IMMUNIZATIONS" and "VACCINATION" Properly?

I hear a lot of people incorrectly use the term "Immunizations". Vaccination & Immunization are NOT synonyms. Vaccination is the *physical act* of administering an immunobiologic (vaccine) or toxoid. Immunization is the *process* that takes place inside of your phisiology to try to induce an artificial immunity. So when you say, "I'm taking my child to the Dr to get them immunized." Your really not. All your doing is taking them to get a vaccine, whether or not they develop an immunity remains to be seen. Even the CDC says this, "Although persons often use "vaccination" and "immunization" interchangeably, they are NOT synonyms...the administration of an immunobiologic (a vaccine) CANNOT be automatically equated with the developement of adequate immunity" SOURCE: MMWR Vol 43/NO.RR-1

Parents please do your research on what is being injected into your children. KNOW what is in the vaccines and outweigh your risks. Are the chicken pox really that bad to risk a serious side effect with the vaccine? It can't happen to your child? Well, it happens to someones child otherwise there wouldn't be known side effects. Did you know that thousands of vaccine related illnesses/deaths go unreported every single year? The Dr. DOES NOT have to report a vaccine related illness or death, you can go to the CDC website and actually report one yourself. The CDC process reminds me of the new release movie The Crazies.

EDUCATE BEFORE YOU VACCINATE BECAUSE YOU DO HAVE CHOICES

Accountabililty Goes Both Ways

I don't know how many times I've seen on another website I'm a member of that parents who choose not to vaccinate should have their children taken away, that insurance companies shouldn't pay for anything related to something the vaccine may have prevented, or that the parents should be accountable and charged if the child contracts a disease there is a vaccine for. If so, why wouldn't the same go for parents who do choose to vaccinate? Everyone knows that all vaccines come with very serious risks and none are totally safe. At least I hope everyone knows. So why shouldn't parents who choose to vaccinate their kids have them taken away? After all, they're knowingly putting their child(ren) at risk. If insurance shouldn't pay for children possilby contracting vaccine preventable diseases, should they also not cover damages caused by vaccines? If a vaccinated child contracts a vaccine preventable disease, is the parent accountable for making the choice to risk them when no protection was gained? If a parent should be charged due to their non vaccinated child being harmed by something that may have been prevented by a vaccine, should the parent of a vaccinated child who's vaccines(s) killed or injured him/her be charged as well? Accountability goes both ways. Vaccinations are and should remain a choice for this very reason. Bad may come from either side. There is no one 100% guaranteed safe option. Just weighing out risks and benefits. Do you know just how many parents would be screwed if they were held accountable for their child(ren)'s vaccine related injuries or death? Far more than the number of parents who's child(ren) suffered from not being vaccinated. There's something to think about.

Oh and in case your wondering I don't vaccinate at all until 2 years of age when their immune system is developed. Yes you do have a choice, you don't HAVE to vaccinate. How many times has the Dr gave you the vaccine insert to read prior to being injected with a vaccine? Know your rights folks, read up on them.

Have You Read the H1N1 Vaccine Package Inserts?

The H1N1 flu vaccine inserts are very informative, but there is no claim or guarantee of a great cure all. In fact the inserts contain numerous warnings, contraindications, and adverse reactions. So, why do we have a media infused, CDC agenda myth that the swine flu vaccination is absolutely the most effective, safest cure all on the face of the earth?

You will find this paragraph in all the vaccine inserts. "Specific levels of HI antibody titers post-vaccination with inactivated influenza virus vaccine have not been correlated with protection from influenza virus. In some human studies, antibody titers of 1:40 or greater have been associated with protection from influenza illness in up to 50% of subjects."

As of this date, four swine flu vaccines have received FDA approval for use in the US (insert information link included):

MedImmune, which is a subsidiary of London-based AstraZeneca, offers an intranasal spray that contains live attenuated virus. Read the package insert here
(the package insert) (note: the adverse reaction information for MedImmune's vaccine is based on studies conducted with the seasonal flu version known as FluMist). According to the insert, FluMist has demonstrated a mere 44.5 percent reduction in influenza rate when looking at all strains, compared to active controls (other flu vaccines).

Novartis, Novartis' Influenza A(H1N1)
(Novartis package insert). The adverse reaction information for this swine flu vaccine is based on studies conducted with the seasonal flu vaccine Fluvirin, NOT the A(H1N1) vaccine itself. It is worth noting that the safety data for Fluvarin (upon which the safety data for the swine flu vaccine is based), was collected from 29 clinical studies over the past 27 years that included no more than 2,768 adults. In these studies, the subjects were observed for 30 minutes after vaccination, and were instructed to complete a diary card for the three days following immunization, to collect local and systemic reactions.

So, keep in mind that the "safety data" for this vaccine is based on studying human subjects for FOUR DAYS. Not weeks, months, or years, to see if problems occur down the line.

Sanofi-Pasteur, (Sanofi-Pasteur's Influenza A(H1N1) 2009 Monovalent vaccine insert) The adverse reaction information for Sanofi-Pasteur's vaccine is based on studies conducted with the seasonal flu version known as Fluzone. The safety data for infants under the age of 3 is based on adverse reactions of 19 children, reported within a mere three days of vaccination.

CSL Biotherapies, Inc., (CSL's Influenza A(H1N1) 2009 Monovalent vaccine insert) The adverse reaction information for CSL's vaccine is based on studies conducted with the seasonal flu version known as Afluria. Here the safety data is based on adverse reactions reported within 21 days of vaccination. It's also worth noting that the safety assessment studies were done using mercury-containing placebos, which may significantly skew the data as the control group would most likely experience similar side effects of the thimerosal as those receiving the actual vaccine.

Additionally, tucked away on page 10 of this insert states: "No controlled clinical studies demonstrating a decrease in influenza disease after vaccination with Afluria have been performed."

Anything we give our children, rather it is the food we eat, the beverages we drink, the supplements we take, the vaccines or medications suggested - pull out all the stops and get to the facts, read the labels, read the inserts, and make informed decisions.

Flu Shots Will Be Made With Bugs

Flu shots are going to be made from bugs. Now they are going to ask us to be injected with shots containing insect DNA. You can read the article here
